"I Do" & "It's A Boy!"

Ok so I admit, I have been a terrible blogger over the last several months! I don't know what it is but every time I tell myself I'm going to blog, a million other things get in the way. Anyway, I am hoping to make up for some lost time by posting not ONE, but TWO of my most recent sessions.

I have been on a natural light kick lately and shot two sessions over this last weekend using almost 100% natural light (aside from the stuff I shot in my studio) and I am really pleased with how they turned out. I have a weakness for warm, yummy lighting that just pours over my subjects and these two sessions did not disappoint!

First we have the lovely Ashley and her camera shy, but very appeasing fiance', Jake. These two are beautiful together and I always have so much fun photographing them. Ashley has been a client of mine for going on three years now and I am super excited to be photographing her upcoming wedding in Moab this August. Here are some of my favorite shots from their engagement session:

Next we have Jon and Jenn, one of the cutest couples I know. They too have been clients of mine for a couple years now and are expecting their first child, a baby boy, next month. I had the privilege of taking their maternity photos and I absolutely LOVE shooting maternity pictures! There is something about a pregnant woman and being able to capture the essence of a new life about to be born and the beauty of a woman's body when she is pregnant. It may sound cheesy, but that's how I feel, especially after having a child of my own. I just think pregnant bellies are so beautiful and I love being able to photograph a glowing mommy to be :)

I had a really hard time choosing only a few photos to post from this session because I love them all so much, so you get some eye candy overload today. Enjoy! :)

So there you have it, two beautiful natural light sessions, four very awesome clients that I had so much fun photographing, and one vow to try to keep on top of my blogging in a commitment to continue bringing you more fabulous images. :)

Happy Ground hog's Day!
